Leslie Giuliani has a rather eclectic artistic background. Having graduated with a B.F.A. in drawing, oil painting and photography, she continued her studies in a variety of media including fresco, egg tempera, digital embroidery and encaustic. She has worked with textile handcrafts since childhood.

Ms. Giuliani has been an arts instructor for over 25 years, specializing in encaustic and the materials of making artwork. She has taught privately, at arts centers, colleges and museums. Her work is in the collections of the State of Connecticut and The Hall-Brooke Institute for Behavioral Studies. Her paintings have been featured in two international encaustic biennial exhibitions and she has exhibited widely. In 2008, she was the recipient of an Artist Fellowship Grant from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism.
