The Gallery at R&F is pleased to present Lisa Pressman’s solo exhibition, Inside/Outside. Her bold, mature, expressionistic work makes abstract references to landscape, personal possessions and the inner workings of the mind. Pressman’s recent encaustic, pigment stick and mixed-media paintings will be open for viewing from February 2nd-April 18th, 2015.

The Huffington Post includes Ms. Pressman’s work in “Ten Memorable Paintings from 2014.” In his 12/22/14 post, Prof. John Seed states, “Lisa Pressman has developed a convincing personal language that is fused with a wonderful feeling for materials. This is mature, hard-won work.” 

Ms. Pressman has had numerous one-person shows in New York City, Philadelphia, Houston and many other venues. She has exhibited extensively throughout the United States. Born and raised in New Jersey, Lisa earned her MFA in Painting from Bard College, Annandale-on-the-Hudson, NY in 1983 as well as a BA in Fine Arts from Douglass College, Rutgers, New Brunswick, NJ in 1979.
